1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the services of Peers Exchange (PeeX), you agree to be bound by these terms of service, our privacy policy and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Description of services

PeeX provides a digital financial services platform including:

• PeeX Collect: Multi-channel payment collection solutions
• PeeX Bulk Payment: Mass payment services
• PeeX Portal: Partner interface for transaction management
• PeeX Agent: Application for the agent network
• PeeX Admin: Back-office administration platform
• Money transfer services: National and international transfers

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of our services at any time.

3. Registration and user account

To access certain services, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Notify PeeX immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Assume full responsibility for activities carried out under your account

PeeX reserves the right to refuse to open an account or close an existing account at its sole discretion.

4. User obligations

By using our services, you agree to:

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not use our services for illegal or unauthorized purposes
• Provide truthful information during transactions
• Cooperate with PeeX for any required identity verification
• Report immediately any suspicious or unauthorized transaction

5. Prohibited activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Money laundering or financing of terrorist activities
• Fraud, scam or identity theft
• Transactions related to illegal activities
• Attempting to compromise the security of our systems
• Use of unauthorized robots or automated scripts
• Unauthorized resale or redistribution of our services
• Harassment or intimidation of other users or our staff

6. Fees and payments

Use of our services may be subject to fees:

• Applicable fees are communicated before each transaction
• Fees may vary depending on the type of service, amount and destination
• All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise indicated
• PeeX reserves the right to modify its rates with reasonable notice

Exchange rates used are determined at the time of the transaction and may include a margin.

7. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights relating to our services, including but not limited to:

• Trademarks, logos and trade names
• Software, codes and algorithms
• Designs, interfaces and content
• Documentation and marketing materials

Are and remain the exclusive property of PeeX or its licensors. No license is granted except for use in accordance with these terms.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law:

• PeeX provides its services 'as is' without warranty of any kind
• PeeX does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of services
• PeeX is not liable for indirect or consequential damages
• PeeX's total liability is limited to fees paid for the service concerned

These limitations do not apply in case of intentional fault or gross negligence by PeeX.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PeeX, its officers, employees and partners from any claim, loss, damage, liability and expense (including legal fees) arising from your use of the services, your breach of these terms or your infringement of third party rights.

10. Termination

PeeX may suspend or terminate your access to services:

• In case of violation of these terms
• For security or fraud prevention reasons
• To comply with legal or regulatory requirements
• At its sole discretion with reasonable notice

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Closing does not eliminate your existing obligations.

11. Dispute resolution

In case of dispute concerning these terms or our services:

• The parties will first endeavor to resolve the dispute amicably
• Failing that, the dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Douala, Cameroon
• These terms are governed by Cameroonian law

12. Modifications to terms

PeeX reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated by email or via our platform. Continued use of services after notification constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. If you do not accept the changes, you must stop using our services.
